Orient Fashions

Orient Fashions is right here in New Delhi. We don't have a fancy storefront in a mall or anything, we're just part of the city's fabric. Working in Delhi means dealing with the heat and the crowds every single day. We’ve got a small space where we keep our stock and handle our business. It’s often a bit cluttered because we get shipments in quite frequently. We try to stay on top of things, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the old wooden table we use as a desk. There are a few of us who work here, and we've all been friends for a long time. It makes the day go by faster when you can joke around while you’re working. We don't really follow all the latest trends or try to be something we're not. We just look for clothes that people might actually want to wear in their daily lives. The street outside is always noisy with horns and people shouting, but you get used to it after a while. It’s just the sound of the city. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down. It’s a simple life, running a shop in New Delhi. We’re just happy to be here and doing our thing. Sometimes the ceiling leaks a tiny bit when there's a really heavy monsoon rain, so we keep a bucket ready. It’s not a big deal, just part of the routine.
