You can find us at 7/56 in Old Rajinder Nagar. It is an older building and the rooms are a bit small, but we make it work for our garment business. The walls are lined with patterns and sample pieces that we have made over the months. There is always the sound of sewing machines running in the back room, which can get pretty loud when everyone is working at the same time. We have several tailors who have been with us for a long time, and the whole place feels a bit like a home because we have been here for so long. The light coming through the windows isn't very strong, so we have extra lamps over the workbenches so we can see the needles. It gets very hot in the summer, and the small fans we have don't always do much to cool us down, but we keep going. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything fancy to show off. It is just a place where we cut fabric and put things together. Boxes of buttons and zippers are stacked on the floor because we ran out of shelf space a couple of years ago. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about the designs we are currently putting together. It is a busy, cramped, and noisy place, but it is where all our work happens.
