Indian Telephone Electric Company

We operate out of the DDA Sheds at A 63, which is a pretty industrial sort of environment. Indian Telephone Electric Company has been around this area for quite a stretch, focusing on telephone equipment and electrical components. The sheds aren't the most glamorous offices, but they work well for what we do. It’s a lot of metal, wires, and heavy machinery around here. We spend our days testing lines and making sure the electrical parts are up to code. It's dusty work sometimes, especially when the trucks are moving in and out of the complex. We’ve got a small team that knows their way around a circuit breaker better than most. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that because most of our time is spent in the back where the actual work happens. People usually come to us because they need something specific for their phone systems or some electrical setup that’s acting up. We’ve seen the technology change over the years, from the old heavy phones to the newer stuff, and we’ve just adapted along the way. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, look at the problems, and try to find a way to fix them using what we have in the shop. A 63 is a busy spot, and there’s always someone dropping off a box or picking up a refurbished part. It's just what we do day in and day out, keeping the lines connected.
