Rostfrei Steels Private Limited is up on the second floor of Plot No. 211 in Okhla Industrial Estate Phase III. Being on the second floor means we have to haul everything up and down, which can be a bit of a workout. Okhla is always crowded, so getting to work in the morning is usually a bit of a challenge with all the rickshaws and delivery vans blocking the narrow lanes. Our space is mostly filled with desks and samples of the steel work we do. It’s not a very big place, but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at technical drawings on the screen. The sounds of the other workshops on the lower floors drift up all day, so it’s never really quiet. We’ve been in Phase III for several years and have seen plenty of businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and focus on the steel requirements our clients have. We don’t have any fancy lounge areas or anything like that. It’s just a standard office and workspace where we get the planning done. The windows look out over the street, and there’s always something happening down there. It’s a busy life here in Okhla, and we are just one part of the machinery of this estate. We stick to our schedules and try to keep things moving.
