We operate out of one of the DDA sheds in Okhla Phase-1. Specifically, it is shed B-176. It is an industrial area, so it is always noisy with the sound of metal being cut and welded. That is just the sound of work for us. We do fabrication, so there is always plenty of steel and aluminum lying around the floor. It is a dusty environment, and we usually have our overalls on from morning till night. We have been in Okhla for a long time. It is a good spot for this kind of work because all the suppliers are nearby. If we need a specific part or some gas for the torches, we just go down the street. Our team is small, mostly just guys who grew up doing this kind of heavy work. We don't have an office staff. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and answers it. The shed has seen better days, but it keeps the rain off the machines. We work on whatever projects come through the door, from small brackets to bigger frames. It is not glamorous, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to wait it out, but mostly we are just busy with the grinders and the welders. It’s a straightforward life at B-176.
