Indian Machine Tools

You can find us over at the DDA Sheds in Phase I, specifically at B-163-164. If you’ve ever been to these sheds, you know they are old-school and built for real work. Indian Machine Tools is tucked away in there among a lot of other small businesses. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the hammering and the sounds of metal hitting metal coming from every direction. The space isn’t very large, so we have to be careful about where we stack things or we’d run out of room to walk. It’s a bit of a maze getting back to our unit if you aren’t familiar with the layout of the phase. We spend our time surrounded by tools and spare parts, and there is usually a thin layer of iron dust on everything by the time we close up for the night. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area; if someone comes by, they usually just talk to whoever is closest to the door. The lighting is a bit dim in some corners, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical place for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We’ve been working out of these sheds for quite some time, and while it’s not the most modern part of town, it’s where we feel most comfortable getting our actual work done every single day. It is just a simple workshop that has been around the block a few times.
