Oberai & Co. is located at 1179/12 in the Textile Complex on Main Road. We’ve been in Govindpuri for a long time now. The area around Kalkaji is always buzzing with people and traffic. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It's just a functional space where we get our daily tasks done. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a kettle that we use way too much. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time for it. It’s a small team here. Most of us have lived in this part of Delhi our whole lives. We know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the Main Road jams. Work comes in, and we handle it as best as we can. We don't have fancy titles or a big corporate structure. If something needs doing, someone just does it. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat or to borrow a stapler. It’s that kind of place. We focus on the practical side of things. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just want to provide a decent service and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we stay right here. It is what it is.
