We work out of Core 7 in the Scope Complex on Lodi Road. It’s a big building, and there are a lot of different departments here, but our section is where the day-to-day grind happens. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and it feels like a second home to many of us. Lodi Road is a nice part of the city, even if the security around the complex is a bit tight sometimes. We handle a lot of the energy and power coordination stuff that keeps things running. It’s a lot of meetings, spreadsheets, and phone calls. It isn't always the most exciting work, but it’s important, so we take it seriously. There’s a certain way things are done here, a bit old-school perhaps, but it works for us. The cafeteria is where most of us catch up on what’s happening in other parts of the building. We don't really do the flashy corporate branding inside the office; it's mostly just desks, folders, and people trying to stay on top of their tasks. Being in the Scope Complex means we’re surrounded by other big offices, but we try to keep our little corner as down-to-earth as possible. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve got a good group of people who have been here for years, and we just keep pushing forward with the work. We are just a bunch of people doing our jobs every day.
