Nitin Hi-Tech Tapes

Out in Mangolepuri Industrial Area, Phase-II, at unit A-119, that is our workplace. This part of Delhi is always crowded and the streets are full of trucks and carts. Our building is right in the middle of all that noise. Inside, the main sound is the whirling of the tape machines. We make all sorts of adhesive tapes here. The smell of the glue is something you get used to after a few days, but visitors always notice it. There are rolls of brown and clear tape stacked up to the ceiling in some parts of the warehouse. We spend our time monitoring the coating process and making sure the rolls are cut straight. It is a lot of standing on your feet and moving heavy boxes. The floor can get a bit sticky if we are not careful. We have a small crew and everyone knows their role. We do not have much of a front office, just a small space with a computer and some samples. Most of the action is in the back where the big rolls are handled. It gets dusty, and the fans never seem to be enough in the summer. We just keep the machines running and fill the orders as they come through the door. It is honest work and we have been at it for a while.
