Nikom Impex Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Pratap Nagar, right near the Hari Nagar depot in New Delhi. We’re at 119 A Sf. Being near the depot means there’s always buses and noise, which keeps things lively. We’ve been in this office for a while, and it feels like a second home to most of us. We do import and export work, which sounds more exciting than it actually is. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting at computers and making sure the numbers match up. We have stacks of files everywhere because we haven't quite gone fully digital yet. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The team is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. There’s no big hierarchy here; if something needs to be moved or a call needs to be taken, whoever is free does it. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of promotional materials. Most of our work comes from people who just know where we are. It’s a simple operation. We focus on the daily tasks and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. Pratap Nagar is a good place for us, even if the traffic is a nightmare during rush hour. We just keep plugging away at the paperwork and the shipping logs every single day until it's time to head home. It's a bit repetitive, but it's what we know how to do best.
