Newtex Industries

We’re over in Janakpuri, at 351/12 Chankya Place. Newtex Industries is a name we’ve had for a while, and we’ve been working out of this location through plenty of seasons. It’s a residential and commercial mix around here, so you get all kinds of people passing by our door. Our setup is pretty basic. We handle industrial materials, mainly textiles or related things, hence the name. The workshop isn't something you’d see in a magazine. It’s got rolls of fabric, some machines, and a few tables for cutting and measuring. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers. It’s a smaller operation where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We spend a lot of our time making sure the orders are packed right and ready for pickup. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery truck is late, and we just have to deal with it like everyone else in the neighborhood. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make and sell stuff. If you come by, you might find us busy with a big pile of material or just sitting having a tea during a break. It’s a local business, run by local people who just want to make a living. We’ve been at Chankya Place for years and plan to stay as long as we can. It’s a decent enough spot and we know the people around here.
