New Life Surgical Works

New Life Surgical Works is tucked away at 1681/4 in Bhagirath Palace. Being in Chandni Chowk means there is never a quiet moment. The streets are always packed with people and carts moving back and forth. Our shop is where we keep all the surgical tools and equipment. We have stacks of boxes reaching up to the ceiling sometimes. It is a lot of work keeping track of everything in such a small space. We deal with all kinds of medical professionals who come through the market looking for specific items. The air is always thick with the smell of the city and whatever food is being cooked nearby. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the noise from outside. Our counters are scratched from years of sliding heavy trays across them. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know where everything is kept. If you ask for a specific clamp or a tray, we can usually find it in a couple of minutes. The stairs up to our section are narrow so we have to be careful when carrying supplies. It is a hectic life in the heart of the old city but we are used to it by now. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. There is no point in complaining about the crowd because that is just Chandni Chowk for you. We will be here tomorrow doing the same.
