Srs Construction

We operate out of No. 37 New Friends Colony, and we are quite easy to spot because we are right near the State Bank of India ATM. Our office at Srs Construction is basically just a place where we store our maps, blueprints, and a lot of muddy boots. There is always someone coming in or going out to a site somewhere nearby. It’s not the kind of office where people wear suits; it’s more about jeans and sturdy shoes around here. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to coordinate with workers and making sure the supplies show up on time. The walls are covered in scribbled notes and calendars that are mostly crossed out. It can get pretty hectic when a big project is starting up, and the coffee machine is usually working overtime. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that; you just walk in and find someone to talk to. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't really need to say much to know what needs doing next. The neighborhood is nice and quiet compared to the construction sites we spend our days at, which is a bit of a relief. Sometimes we sit out on the steps for a bit just to get some fresh air. It’s a straightforward job and we like the feeling of actually building something with our own hands.
