Neucasa Luminaries

Neucasa Luminaries is located at 267 in the Old Lajpat Rai Market. If you are familiar with the area, we are situated right across from the Red Fort. It is a very crowded and busy place, especially on the weekends when the tourists are out. Our shop is quite small, but we managed to pack a lot of stuff into the shelves over the years. Working here means dealing with a lot of noise and people passing by the door all day long. It’s an old building, so it has its little quirks like squeaky floorboards and narrow stairs that you have to be careful on. We have been at this spot for quite some time now. Being so close to the Red Fort is a landmark everyone knows, which really helps people find the shop. We deal with all sorts of luminaries and the various bits and pieces that go with them. It’s a busy life in the market. We don't have any time for fancy talk or big business presentations. Most of our day is spent talking to the people who walk in or just organizing the stock in the back room. The market atmosphere is very unique, and we are just one small part of it. Sometimes it's a real struggle to find a parking spot nearby, but that's just how it is in this part of the city. We keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a simple operation at 267.
