Netra Vision Care

Netra Vision Care is tucked away inside Mohan Singh Place, right in the middle of Connaught Place. Being at 83-84 means we get a lot of foot traffic from people just walking around CP. This building has a lot of history, and working here feels a bit different than a modern mall. We spend most of our time dealing with prescriptions and trying to find frames that actually fit people’s faces properly. It’s a lot of manual work, checking lenses and making sure they sit right in the rims. Sometimes the light in here isn't the best, so we have to be careful with the fine details. It gets busy during the lunch hour when office workers step out to get their eyes checked. I’ve been working at this spot for a while now, and you see all kinds of people coming through Mohan Singh Place. Some are looking for old-school styles, others want something more modern. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. The noise from the street outside is always there, but you get used to it after a week. We keep a decent stock of lenses in the back room so we don't have to make people wait too long. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the place running, making sure the displays look okay and the equipment stays clean.
