Neb Sarai is a very crowded part of Delhi. Getting to C-64 in Indra Enclave on Ignou Road can be a real struggle if you have a big car. The lanes are narrow and there are people everywhere. At Esmartek Water Solutions Pvt. Ltd., we deal with water systems, which is funny because the plumbing in our own building sometimes acts up. Our office is small and filled with pipes, filters, and various tools. It’s not the kind of place where you’d host a formal dinner. It’s more of a place where we get our hands dirty. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to explain things to people or coordinating with our technicians who are out at different sites. The noise from the street outside is always there, from the vegetable sellers to the honking of bikes. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, and that’s pretty much the extent of our kitchen. Sometimes we get frustrated when a part doesn't fit or a supplier sends the wrong size, but we just deal with it. We don't have any polished corporate speeches. We are just a small group of people working out of a busy Delhi neighborhood, trying to solve one water problem at a time while navigating the chaos of Ignou Road every single day. It can be exhausting, but we know the regulars around here, and that makes the days a bit more manageable.
