You can find us at 64 Pushpanjali Enclave, which is quite close to the Anand Vihar area in Delhi. Being in this part of the city means there’s always something going on outside, especially with the station nearby. Our building is one of those standard structures you see all over Delhi, with some stairs that are starting to show their age. At Preet Machines Ltd., we spend most of our time dealing with mechanical parts and heavy iron. The floor is usually covered with tools and bits of metal because we are always in the middle of a project. It’s a loud place when the work is in full swing, and we have to speak up to hear each other over the clanking. We don't have any polished floors or fancy glass walls here. Instead, there are shelves filled with manuals and spare parts that have been sitting there for years. The guys here have grease on their hands most of the time, and we keep a stack of old rags by the door for cleaning up. 110092 is a busy pin code, and the tea stall at the corner is where we usually end up talking about the day's problems. It’s hard work, and the Delhi summers don’t make it any easier, but we’ve been at this location for a long time and know the routine by heart.
