Pee Kay Electrical Works

We have been running Pee Kay Electrical Works at Plot No. 5 in Rattan Bagh for quite a long time now. If you know the Railway Station Road in Nangloi, you probably know where we are located. It is a busy place and the trains going by make a lot of noise throughout the day, but you get used to it after a while. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we keep all our tools and the electrical parts people bring in for us to look at. Most mornings start with clearing off the dust that settles overnight because the road outside stays pretty crowded with trucks and rickshaws. We usually have a small tea break around eleven when the local tea seller comes around. There are a few of us here and we mostly just spend our hours hunched over motors or checking wiring. It gets hot in the summer months, especially with the machines running, but the fans help a bit. People from the neighborhood come by when their stuff breaks down and we try to get it sorted out without too much fuss. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We don't really have a big office or anything, just the workbench and some stools. Sometimes the deliveries take a while to reach us because of the traffic on the main road, but that is just how things are in this part of town.
