Shahdra is a crowded part of Delhi, and Street No. 14 in Behari Colony is no different from the rest of the neighborhood. Our spot is at N-55, and if you have ever been around here, you know how tight these lanes can get when trucks are moving. Namo Alloys Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this small space for quite some time now. Dealing with metal and alloys in a residential colony like Behari Colony means we have to be careful about not making too much noise at odd hours. The neighbors are mostly okay with us, as long as we keep the street clear for their cars. It is a practical setup, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it is just desks, some samples, and a lot of ledgers. Delhi summers are tough in these narrow streets, so the fans are always running at full speed in the office. We spend most of our mornings talking to suppliers and checking the stock coming in. Shahdra has a certain energy that you do not find elsewhere in the city. It is loud, busy, and everyone is just trying to make a living. We fit right in with that. Sometimes the electricity goes off for an hour or two, and we just sit outside on the steps and chat with the shopkeepers next door. We are not trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the business moving forward.
