N. K. Joy & Co.

N. K. Joy & Co. is located at number 80 on Shardhanand Marg, which most people around here just call G. B. Road. It’s a very old and busy part of the city. Our shop has been in this same spot for a long time, and you can tell by the worn floors and the heavy wooden counters. We deal in various goods and hardware, and the shelves are crammed with all sorts of items we’ve collected over the years. It’s a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together, but we have our lamps and we know the inventory by heart. Working on G. B. Road means you see everything. It’s loud, crowded, and there’s always someone shouting or a horn honking. We’re used to it, though. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff; we just rely on the people who walk through the door. Some customers have been coming to us for decades, and now their kids come too. We just try to be fair and provide what people are looking for. It’s a traditional way of doing business, no frills and no nonsense. We don't change things just for the sake of it. If it’s not broken, we leave it alone. That’s the philosophy that’s kept us going all this time. We just keep our doors open for anyone who needs something practical.
