Mts Gift Emporio

Mts Gift Emporio is tucked away at Shop No 32. We are in the back basement of the Tip Top Market in Karol Bagh. If you’ve ever been to Karol Bagh, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can find. Tip Top Market is right in the middle of all that chaos. Since we are down in the basement, it stays a bit cooler than the street, which is a relief when it’s hot outside. We have all kinds of gift items crammed onto the shelves. It gets a bit tight in here because we try to stock as much as possible. We don’t have any windows to the outside, so we just use the fluorescent lights on the ceiling. Much of our time is spent opening up new boxes and trying to find space for everything. Karol Bagh has a very specific kind of energy with all the people and the noise. We see hundreds of different people every day. Some are just passing through and others are looking for something very specific to buy. We only have a few people working here, but we know where every single item is kept. It gets cluttered, but that’s just how it is in a basement shop. We have been here for quite a few years now. The walk down the stairs is a bit narrow and the hallway is dim. But once you get inside, it’s full of things to see. We just handle the daily sales.
