Our office is situated at D 179 in Rama Vihar, out in the North-West part of New Delhi. Rama Vihar is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the center of the city, but it works well for what we do. We are Sunrisefreight Forwarders, and as the name suggests, we spend our time moving goods from one place to another. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small shops, so our office fits right in. It is a simple setup on one of the regular streets here. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just walk in and see one of us behind a desk covered in shipping documents and maps. The air out here is a little bit different than the really crowded parts of town, but the work is just as fast-paced. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs and transport companies. Dealing with freight forwarding means things are always changing, so we have to be ready for anything. Some days are quiet, but most of the time we are rushing to meet some deadline or find a lost package. We like being in Rama Vihar because it’s a bit more relaxed than the huge industrial hubs, even if we are still working just as hard. It’s a local business run by local people who just want to do a decent job every day and get the freight moving.
