Our office is on the first floor over here at WZ-908-A1, right along the Ring Road in Naraina. If you’ve ever driven past this stretch, you know how loud the traffic gets at almost any hour of the day. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway is a little narrow, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just us at our desks or working with the equipment. We don’t have much in the way of decorations, just some calendars on the wall and a lot of wires tucked away in corners. Dealing with nanotechnology sounds complicated to people who don't work here, but for us, it’s just the daily routine of checking specs and looking through lenses. The air conditioner in the main room rattles a bit when it’s on full blast, but it beats the Delhi heat in July. Lunch usually means someone bringing in parathas or ordering from the stall downstairs. We spend a lot of time on the computers, staring at data until our eyes get tired. Sometimes the courier guys get lost because the building numbers around Naraina are all over the place, so we end up standing out on the balcony waving them down. It isn't a flashy corporate setup with glass walls. It’s just a practical space where we try to keep things moving. We usually pack up around six, unless there's something urgent that needs finishing. It's just a regular small business life in a busy part of the city.
