We are located right in the middle of the mess that is Chandni Chowk. Specifically, we are at 204 on the second floor of 32-33 Kucha Chaudhary. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets. You have to push through the narrow lanes and climb some narrow stairs to get to our floor. The building is old and the wires are hanging everywhere in the hallway, which is typical for this part of Delhi. Our space is packed with electronics—circuits, components, and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It’s noisy all day with the sounds of the market below. We have a couple of benches where we sit and work on things. The light comes in through a small window that faces another wall, so it’s mostly fluorescent bulbs for us. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to Kucha Chaudhary for years. They know the shortcuts to get here. We spend our time testing parts and answering the phone while drinking glass after glass of tea from the stall downstairs. It’s a bit chaotic, and there’s dust on everything no matter how much we clean, but that’s just how it is here. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is just a workspace where we get things done among the thousands of other shops in the Chowk.
