If you ever find yourself walking around Malviya Nagar, you might have passed by Modi House. We are located at C-56, spread out between the basement and the first floor. It is often a bit of a maze inside with all the different lighting fixtures and cardboard boxes we have stacked up everywhere. We have been focusing on the lighting business for quite some time. Some days it is very quiet, and other days it is just a constant stream of loading and unloading trucks at the curb. The basement stays fairly cool even when the Delhi summer is at its worst, which is a nice break for us. We mostly deal with people who are looking for specific types of bulbs or basic lighting setups for their homes or small offices. It is definitely not a polished showroom where everything looks perfect; it is more of a working warehouse space where we test things and pack them up. We have a few guys on the team who have been here since the very beginning. We know which switches are a bit sticky and which shelves hold the old stock. Malviya Nagar is a busy spot with plenty of places to grab a quick lunch. We aren't trying to become some massive corporation. We just want to make sure the lights we sell actually work when you plug them in. Sometimes we get a little behind on the filing, but the orders always go out. That is just how we do things at MODI LIGHTING LTD.
