Modern Surgicals

We've been running Modern Surgicals at 1541/4A in Bhagirath Palace for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially being on the second floor where things are a bit quieter than the street but still pretty hectic most days. Most of our time involves unpacking crates of medical gear and checking through invoices to make sure everything is where it should be. The hallways here are narrow, so we spend a lot of time moving boxes around to make space. People come in looking for specific instruments, and we just try to find what they need without making a big fuss about it. It isn't a fancy office by any means. There are usually stacks of papers on the desks and that lingering smell of cardboard and tape everywhere. We open up early, get the tea going, and start sorting through the orders that came in overnight. Sometimes the elevator is slow or just doesn't work, so we end up taking the stairs more than we'd like. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. We know the other shop owners around here, and we all deal with the same crowd and the same deliveries. If you're looking for us, you have to keep an eye out for the unit number because the signs can be a bit confusing. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a simple setup, nothing more than a place to store and move surgical equipment.
