Microtek Instruments

At Microtek Instruments, we work out of a space in the DDA Flats in Kalkaji Extension, New Delhi. Our specific spot is A-4/40. Because we are in a residential complex, it’s a bit quieter than being on a main commercial road. We’ve turned this flat into our working office and workshop. We have all our instruments and testing gear set up in the different rooms. It’s not a large corporate office with a big sign out front. It’s just a place where we can focus on our work without too much distraction. We’ve been here for several years now and we like the neighborhood. There are some nice trees outside and the neighbors are mostly families. Inside, the space is a bit cramped because we have so much equipment, but we manage just fine. We don't have a formal reception or a bunch of people in suits. We usually just wear casual clothes and spend our time tinkering with the instruments. We drink a lot of tea and sometimes have meetings over a plate of biscuits. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just take the work as it comes and try to do a good job with the instruments we handle. It’s a very practical and low-key way of running things. We just do our work and head home at the end of the day.
