Mettwa Electricals and Appliances is based over in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a maze of blocks and small factories. We’re at B-7/2. It’s a very practical place to be for a business like ours. We have a lot of electrical parts and appliances coming in and out every day. The loading area is almost always blocked by a truck or someone moving pallets around. It can be a bit frustrating at times, but that’s just life in an industrial zone. The office inside is a bit noisy because of the fans and the general racket from the street outside. We’ve got a small team that’s been together for a few years now. We know each other's quirks. We don't have any of those fancy modern office perks like bean bags or ping pong tables. We just have sturdy desks and chairs that work. We spend a lot of time checking orders and making sure the right boxes get to the right people. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we have to wait for pages to load. We don't mind. It gives us a chance to talk to each other. We aren't a huge corporation, just a local outfit trying to do things right. We keep it simple and just focus on the electrical goods we handle. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be doing it here in Okhla. No complaints from us.
