Our shop is tucked away in Pipal Wali Gali, which is right by the Peera Garhi Metro Station. If you know that area, you know how busy it gets with all the people coming and going from the trains. We’ve been at 487/105 for a while now. The lane is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when we get a fresh shipment of gear. We deal with all sorts of things like masks and safety glasses. It’s a lot of repetitive work, checking the items one by one. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time for that. It’s more important to keep the inventory organized so we don’t lose track of things in the back. Being so close to the station means there’s constant noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people find us because they need something specific for their factory or construction site nearby. We sit at these old wooden desks and drink way too much chai while sorting through invoices. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait for the computer to catch up. It’s just us doing the daily grind in this little corner of Peera Garhi. We don't pretend to be more than what we are—just a bunch of people selling equipment in a busy alleyway.
