If you are looking for Mehta Bishan Das & Associates, we are over in Ashok Vihar at D-30. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s pretty calm compared to the city center. We’ve been here for years, and the neighbors all know us by now. The office is basically a converted part of the building, so it feels a lot more like a home than a corporate office. We have a few rooms set up with computers and some heavy wooden tables for meetings. Most of our day is spent looking over documents or chatting with people who have been coming to us for a long time. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one near the gate. It’s a family-style environment here. Sometimes we lose track of time because we’re busy talking or working through a difficult problem. The light in the afternoon is actually quite nice through the front windows. We don't really do the whole suit-and-tie thing unless we absolutely have to. Most of the time, we’re just in our regular clothes, drinking coffee and getting through the pile of work on the desk. It’s a steady pace. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to get the work done for the folks who rely on us. It’s a simple life at D-30, and we like it that way. We just keep going.
