You can find Reverie Furniture at 146 M.G- 5 Mehrauli -Gurgaon Road. The shop is usually full of sawdust and the smell of cut wood and varnish. It is a busy road outside, so there is a constant sound of horns and engines passing by. We have a lot of different pieces sitting around, some finished and some just waiting for a final coat of polish. Moving heavy tables and wardrobes around takes up a lot of our energy, especially on the days when it is humid. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, things are just lined up where they fit so people can walk through and see what we have made. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when the weather gets warm. Sometimes people stop in just to escape the traffic on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road for a minute. We spend our mornings checking the joints on the chairs and making sure everything is sturdy. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just take wood and turn it into something people can sit on or put their things in. It is messy work and we often go home with wood shavings in our pockets, but that is just the way the furniture business is for us here at this location.
