C-62 in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I is where you’ll find Mehala Machines India Ltd. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a maze of buildings and busy people. Our spot is right in the middle of all that energy. The building has been here for years, and inside, it’s all about the machines. Rows of equipment fill the space along with a team that knows every screw and belt. It’s a bit of a trek to get here in the mornings with the Delhi traffic, but once you’re inside, the outside world kind of fades away. The air smells a bit like machine oil and cold metal. There isn't a fancy lounge for guests, just a few sturdy chairs and a table that’s seen better days. A lot of time is spent looking at blueprints and checking parts. It’s a technical job, and we take it one day at a time. No one here is trying to impress anyone with big words. Just making sure the machines work right is enough. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and everyone chips in to get it loaded up. It’s the kind of place where learning happens by doing. Mehala Machines has grown, but the core of what we do remains the same as it was on day one. Just steady work in a busy part of town.
