Media 2000

You can find Media 2000 at 9 LGF in Sant Nagar. Being on the lower ground floor means we don't get a lot of natural light, but it keeps the place cool during the summer months. It is a bit of a maze getting all the equipment inside because the stairs are narrow, but we managed to fit everything in over the years. We have cameras, tripods, and editing setups scattered around the main room. Sant Nagar is a crowded neighborhood, so finding a parking spot near the office is always a bit of a gamble in the mornings. We aren't a high-end studio with shiny floors. Our carpet is a bit worn out in the spots where we roll the chairs around the most. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or trying to organize files that we forgot to label properly. People come in and out, usually in a hurry, and there is always a pot of tea sitting somewhere that someone forgot to finish. It’s a lived-in space that feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the entrance so people know they have the right spot. It is a straightforward place where we just focus on getting the media work finished before the deadlines start creeping up on us at the end of the week.
