Medi-Aid Systems (India)

Our place is located at A-264 in New Friends Colony. It’s a nice area of Delhi, though the parking can be a real headache some afternoons. The building is a regular house that’s been converted into our workspace. Because of that, it feels a bit more like a home than a cold office. Medi-Aid Systems (India) has been running out of this spot for a while. We have boxes of medical supplies and equipment stacked in some of the rooms. The hallway is often lined with crates waiting to go out. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one by the gate. The staff here is small, just a handful of us who’ve known each other forever. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the logistics of getting things delivered. New Friends Colony has changed a lot, but our little corner stays mostly the same. The garden in the front is a bit overgrown, but it’s nice to look at when you need a break from the screen. It gets quiet in the evenings once the street traffic dies down. We usually stay late to finish up the day’s records. It isn’t a high-tech facility, just an honest office where we keep track of everything. We focus on the equipment and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a lot of manual checking and phone calls.
