Our workshop is located at 126-A in Block-B, specifically within Pocket U & V of Shalimar Bagh. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren’t familiar with the blocks, but it’s a good place to work. We are part of the small industrial cluster tucked away in the residential area. Most days are pretty much the same. We arrive, start up the machines, and get to work on whatever batch is currently on the floor. The space isn't huge, so we have to be very organized with how we store materials and finished items. You’ll find metal scraps and tools scattered on the workbenches, and there’s always a faint smell of machine oil in the air. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything. People who need us usually know exactly where to find the blue door in Block-B. The staff consists of just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We don't do things by the book always; we just find the most practical way to get the job done. Lunch is usually a shared affair where we sit on stools and talk about the news or local gossip. Shalimar Bagh is a busy neighborhood, so there is always noise from the nearby roads, but inside the unit, we are focused on the task at hand. It’s a simple, hardworking life, and we like the independence.
