Uday Industries

You can find us at B- 134 in Phase- 1 of Mayapuri. If you have ever been to Mayapuri Phase- 1, you know it is a place where things actually get made. It’s loud, it’s a bit dirty, and there is always the sound of metal hitting metal somewhere nearby. At Uday Industries, we are usually covered in a bit of grease or dust by the end of the shift. We work with various machines to turn out parts and whatever else the orders call for. The floor is always busy and we have to be careful where we step because there is usually material waiting to be processed. It’s not a place for nice clothes or fancy shoes. We have a small cabin in the corner where we keep the records and take a break now and then. The heat in the summer can be tough but that is just part of working in an industrial area like this. We have a few guys who have worked the same machines for years and they know exactly how to fix them when they act up. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the work is done with our hands and the equipment we have been using since we started. It’s basic, hard work, and we just try to get the counts right before the trucks come to pick everything up.
