Matansh Exim Private Limited operates out of a basement on Todarmal Road, right near Bangali Market. Being in Central Delhi is convenient for meetings, but our office itself is pretty low-key. We don't have windows since we are in the basement, so we rely on a lot of tube lights to keep things bright. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples or files lying around, but we make it work. The team here is small, and we’ve all known each other for a long time. We handle various export and import tasks. It’s not a glamorous life, spending all day underground, but the location is great for grabbing a quick snack at the market. Sometimes the dampness of the basement can be a bit annoying during the monsoon, but we’ve got fans to keep the air moving. We don't use any fancy management software; most of our notes are still written in physical diaries. We prefer it that way. It feels more real and less like we are just clicking buttons. We aren't here to impress anyone with a polished image. We are here to move goods and make sure our partners get what they need. It’s a basic setup for a basic business. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It takes time, but the work gets finished eventually.
