Maruti Shoroom

We are located at D/3-39 in Vashisht Park. If you know Pankha Road, you know how the traffic gets around here. It is always a bit of a mess with the cars and the rickshaws. Our place, Maruti Shoroom, isn't anything too fancy. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the day. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the road so we spend a good amount of time just wiping down the cars. People come in to look at the new models or sometimes they just want to ask about service. We have been here for a long time now. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still in the same spot. It gets really hot in the summer and the fan just moves the warm air around. We try to keep things organized but with all the parts and paperwork, it can get a bit cluttered. My cousin helps out with the accounts and I handle the people who walk in. We don't really do much advertising or anything. People just see the sign when they are stuck in traffic on Pankha Road and wander in. Sometimes we just sit and talk to the regulars who have been buying from us for years. It’s a simple way to make a living and we don't plan on moving anywhere else. The tea stall nearby keeps us going through the afternoon slumps. We just focus on the day to day stuff.
