Maruti Competent

Maruti Competent is tucked away in Mehrauli, over at 602-E/20 near Badi Wala Kaun. If you know New Delhi, you know this area has a lot of history and very narrow lanes in some spots. Our place is in Ward Number 3. It’s a lively neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. We’ve got cars coming and going all day long. The address might sound a bit complicated if you’re not from around here, but once you find the well, you’re basically there. It’s a humble setup, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in Gurgaon. We deal with all sorts of people who need help with their vehicles or just want to get things sorted out. The walls have some charts on them, and there’s usually a bit of tea being shared somewhere. It can get loud with the horns and the street vendors, but that’s just how life is in Mehrauli. We try to keep things organized despite the chaos outside. It’s a practical business run by people who live nearby. We don’t spend much on decorations or big signs. We just focus on the work that needs doing every morning. Sometimes the power goes out, or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a real, local spot for the community. Most of our days are spent talking to drivers and making sure the paperwork for the cars is correct.
