Mansi India Textiles

Our place is tucked away in Gali No. 8 over in Raj Nagar Part 2. If you’re familiar with Palam Colony, you know these streets can get pretty narrow and confusing for anyone who doesn't live here. Mansi India Textiles is at H-126, and we’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while. The neighbors know us, and we know them. It’s a busy neighborhood with kids playing in the street and bikes zipping past the door all day long. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and shelves of textiles. We don’t have a lot of room for a fancy office, so we just use a small corner near the entrance for all the paperwork. The air feels thick with the smell of new cloth, which is something you just stop noticing after the first hour. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting down the gali, so we end up carrying rolls of fabric by hand from the main road. It’s hard work, especially when the humidity is high, but that’s just part of the daily routine. We don’t put on any acts here; it’s just a regular textile business run by regular people. We try to keep the shop open late because that’s when most people in Palam have time to stop by after they get home from work. It’s just a simple way to run things in this part of town.
