Our place is in Rohini, specifically Sector 4, Pkt A-4. House No. 60-61 is where Manilal Patel Clearing Forwarding Pvt. Ltd. does all the clearing and forwarding work. Delhi is always a rush, and Rohini is no different. It’s quite a packed area, so there’s always something happening outside the doors. Most of our day is spent dealing with customs papers and making sure goods are moving through the right channels. It’s a lot of technical detail that most people don’t see. We have a couple of computers that are always running and the printers never seem to stop. The office is a bit cramped because we have files dating back years tucked into every corner. It’s not a polished corporate space, just a working office where people drink too much tea and talk about shipping schedules. We deal with various transporters and try to keep things on track, though Delhi traffic often has other plans. It can be stressful when a shipment is stuck, but we’ve learned to stay patient. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so the local tea stall guy and the postman know us by name. We don’t have a big speech about what we do. We just help people get their stuff through the complicated process of clearing and moving it to the next destination. It’s honest work and it fills our days.
