Man Industries (India) Ltd.

Up on the 9th floor of the Indra Prakash Building, we have our office. Specifically, it is room 902 at 21 Barakhamba Road. Being in this part of Delhi means everything is fast. You can hear the city humming even from this high up. Man Industries (India) Ltd. has been utilizing this space to keep track of all our projects and the various sites we have going on elsewhere. The elevators in this building are always packed in the mornings, so most of us try to get in a bit early to avoid the wait. The office itself is full of maps, technical drawings, and stacks of reports that seem to grow every week. It is a professional place, but it feels lived-in. We have photos of the plants and the pipelines pinned up on the walls because that is what we are actually doing out there. The view from the window shows a lot of other high-rises, but we don't spend much time looking at them. There is usually someone on a conference call or a group huddled around a table discussing steel prices or transport logistics. It is a busy hub for us. We have been in this building for years, and the security guards know us all by name now. It is just where we come to put in the hours and keep the wheels turning for the whole company.
