Mahajan Industries

Our place is at Number 1027/ 2 in Tilak Bazaar. If you know Delhi, you know how tight and busy the streets are in this part of town. It is an old market area and it is always full of people moving goods on handcarts. We have been operating out of this spot for a very long time. The building is old and the walls are thick, which helps keep it a bit cooler in the summer heat. We do not have much of a storefront, it is more of a place where we handle the business side of things. There is always a smell of spices or other items in the air from the different shops nearby. We start our day early to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat. The office is small and filled with ledgers and old wooden chairs. We do not see the point in changing things much since the setup has worked for us for decades. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use a torch if we have to read something. It is a noisy and cramped place to be, but it is lively. We know most of the other shopkeepers on this block. We might share a cup of tea out on the pavement when things slow down in the evening. It is just a regular life for us here in the bazaar. We stay busy and keep to ourselves.
