Our workshop is located in Ateli Mandi, which is a small village area in the Mohinder Garh district. We are right near the BDP office, so everyone in the village knows where we are. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you’re coming from the bigger towns, but it’s a peaceful place to work. We are in the Narnoul tehsil. The building is basic and we use it for all our hitech work. It might seem strange to have a place like this in a village, but it works well for us. We have a lot of local guys working with us. The pace of life is a bit slower here than in the cities, which we like. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. During the harvest season, things get a bit distracted because everyone has family work in the fields, but we manage. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. The office is mostly filled with equipment and some old wooden desks. We don’t have any fancy signs or glass doors. Just a regular gate and a path leading up to the main work area. It gets dusty when the wind picks up across the Haryana plains, but we just sweep it out and keep going. M S Getrag has been a staple in this area for years. We just keep the machines running and handle whatever comes our way.
