M S Anil Mahajan Associates is tucked away in 134 B, Pocket 4 of Mayur Vihar Phase I. If you know the area, it's pretty easy to find once you get past the main markets. We have been working out of this Delhi spot for some time now. It is a small setup, mostly just us and our desks piled with papers. Anil Mahajan runs things here and we usually just focus on the task at hand without much fuss. We aren't the type of place with a big shiny lobby or people in suits waiting at the door. It is more of a walk-in-and-sit-down kind of office. Some days are busier than others, especially when the local traffic picks up outside our window. We handle the associate work that people need help with. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at documents. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just try to stay organized and make sure we don't miss anything important for the people who rely on us. Most of our neighbors are folks who have lived in Phase I for decades. We like being part of the local scene here in Delhi. There is always something going on in the lane, but inside we just keep things quiet and get the filing done. It’s a basic office for basic needs and we prefer it that way. We just keep the fan running and keep working.
