M. L. Jain & Co.

M. L. Jain & Co. is our small operation located at Plot No 2835 in Hauz Qazi. We are right by Peepal Mahadev, which is a spot most locals can point you toward if you get lost in the narrow lanes. This part of the city has a lot of history, and our building definitely shows its age, but it’s sturdy. We’ve been doing business here for a long time. The street is always packed with carts and people moving goods, so it gets lively. Inside our doors, things are a bit quieter, though we usually have the radio playing or someone is shouting a question across the room. We deal with whatever comes in that day. We don't have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out. It’s a bit cluttered with papers and samples, but we know where everything is. Mostly, we just want to get through the day’s tasks without too much fuss. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The walls are a bit faded and the floors are worn from years of people coming through. It's a place where we work hard and don't worry about looking like a big corporation. We just focus on the items we have and the people who need them. Hauz Qazi is a tough place to navigate, but it’s home for us and we like it here.
