M. K. Auto Clutch Industries

We are located at B-16 in the Jhilmil Industrial Area, which is right near the G.T. Road in Shahdara. If you know that part of town, you already know how much traffic there is at all hours of the day. You can hear the constant horns and the big trucks from the G.T. Road while we are inside working on clutches. M. K. Auto Clutch Industries is a pretty straightforward, honest shop. We have the heavy tools, the metal workbenches, and a fair amount of grease on everything. Clutches are heavy and dirty, so our hands are rarely clean until the end of the day. The workshop isn't exactly a showroom for customers. It’s mostly full of metal parts and old tools that have been used for years. We spend a lot of our time troubleshooting the parts that come in, trying to figure out why something isn't gripping right or why it's making a strange noise. There is a lot of trial and error involved in what we do. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't the best, so we use handheld lamps to see what we are doing. We share the building with a few other small businesses, so there is always someone walking past the open door or asking to borrow a specific wrench. It is a loud, busy environment, especially during the monsoon season. We just keep the work moving along as best as we can.
