M.J. Logistic Services Ltd.

If you’ve ever tried to park near A-227 in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 1, you know it’s a bit of a nightmare. M.J. Logistic Services Ltd. is tucked right in there among all the other warehouses and small manufacturing units. It’s a busy spot. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking clipboards. The trucks come and go at all hours, and sometimes the traffic in Phase 1 gets so backed up that everything just stops for a bit. Inside A-227, it’s mostly just boxes and people trying to figure out where the next shipment is going. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or fancy rugs. It’s concrete floors and metal shelving. The air is thick with the smell of diesel and old cardboard. M.J. Logistic Services Ltd. is just a group of us working through the logistics side of things. We keep things simple because that’s what works in a place like Okhla. You learn to deal with the noise and the heat. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. Most of us are in plain clothes, just trying to make sure the numbers match up at the end of the shift. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps the bills paid and the goods moving. We’ve been here a while now and we know the street pretty well. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
