M Gambhir & Co. is located at 20/12, West Patel Nagar. We’ve been in this spot for quite a long time now. The building is older, and you can tell by the way the doors creak when you open them. It’s just a simple office space where we handle our daily business. We have these old metal filing cabinets that are stuffed full of papers from years ago. We don't really like throwing things away if we think they might be useful later. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on the highest setting, but it keeps the air moving during the humid months. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and keep our customers satisfied without making a big fuss about it. Most of our day is spent at the desks, looking over accounts or talking to people who come by. It’s a quiet routine, and we like it that way. West Patel Nagar has changed a lot since we first arrived, with new shops opening and closing all the time, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and focus on what needs to be done. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours and we are comfortable here in this little part of Delhi.
