Lumax Auto Technologies Limited has its unit at B-86 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-1. Mayapuri is one of the oldest industrial spots in Delhi. It’s a very crowded place. The lanes are narrow and there are always trucks or carts blocking the way. It’s got a lot of character, though. You can find almost any mechanical part or scrap metal in this neighborhood. Our building is a multi-story structure. We’ve squeezed a lot of technology into B-86. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the different departments. We work on auto technologies. It’s a lot of assembly and testing. The air is always filled with the smell of metal and grease. It’s a very urban industrial setting. There are small food stalls everywhere outside where the workers go for a quick bite. We don’t really have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and you’re right in the middle of the action. Most of our staff have been working in Mayapuri for years. They know how to navigate the chaos of the area. We just focus on our output. It’s a tough place to work because of the congestion, but it’s very central. We’ve been here a long time and we’ve seen the city grow around us. We just keep doing what we do best, right here in the heart of Phase-1. It is what it is, just hard work.
